14.5 oz can | Diced tomatoes |
6 oz pkg | Chicken stuffing mix |
2 cloves | Garlic, minced |
½ cup | Water |
1.5 pounds | Chicken breasts, boneless, cut into 1" pieces |
1 tsp | Dried Basil |
1 ½ cup | Shredded mozzarella cheese |
1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. |
2. Mix tomatoes (14.5 oz can with juice), stuffing mix (6 oz pkg), water (½ cup), and garlic (2 cloves) gently in a bowl . |
3. Spray or oil a 3 quart casserole dish or 8x8 glass baking dish. |
4. Spread chicken pieces (1.5 pounds) in dish. |
5. Sprinkle with basil (1 tsp) and 1 cup (1 cup) of the cheese (1 ½ cup). |
6. Top with stuffing mixture, then the remaining ½ cup (1/2 cup) cheese. |
7. Bake for 30 minutes or until chicken is cooked. |
