2 cups | Diced cooked ham |
¾ cup | Wild rice |
1 | Onion (medium), chopped (about 1/2 cup) |
1 cup | Frozen corn |
1 ½ cups | Diced fresh carrots |
2 cups | Chicken broth |
1 can | Cream of celery soup |
¼ tsp | Fresh ground pepper |
2 ½ cups | Water |
½ cup | Half and half, or heavy cream |
1. Add all ingredients except half and half or cream to slow cooker |
2. Stir to combine |
3. Cover and cook on low for 8 hours |
4. Stir in half-and-half or cream. |
5. Set heat to high |
6. Cook an additional 10 minutes to heat through |
