Slow Cooker Ham and Wild Rice Soup

2 cups Diced cooked ham
¾ cup Wild rice
1 Onion (medium), chopped (about 1/2 cup)
1 cup Frozen corn
1 ½ cups Diced fresh carrots
2 cups Chicken broth
1 can Cream of celery soup
¼ tsp Fresh ground pepper
2 ½ cups Water
½ cup Half and half, or heavy cream
1.  Add all ingredients except half and half or cream to slow cooker
2.  Stir to combine
3.  Cover and cook on low for 8 hours
4.  Stir in half-and-half or cream.
5.  Set heat to high
6.  Cook an additional 10 minutes to heat through
