1.5 lb | Ribeye, new york strip, or chuck steak |
1 tsp | Oil |
¼ tsp | Salt |
½ tsp | Black pepper |
½ tsp | Garlic powder |
½ tsp | Onion powder |
1 tsp | Montreal seasoning |
⅛ tsp | Cayenne pepper |
spray | Nonstick spray |
1. Preheat the air fryer at 400 F for about 5 minutes. |
2. Meanwhile, trim the steak (1.5 lb) of any fat and cut it into 3/4 inch cubes. |
3. In a bowl , combine the steak cubes with the oil (1 tsp), salt (¼ tsp), black pepper (½ tsp), Montreal seasoning (1 tsp), onion powder (½ tsp), garlic powder (½ tsp), and cayenne pepper (⅛ tsp) to create the marinade. |
4. Stir well for a minute to work the spices into the meat. |
5. Spray the bottom of the air fryer basket with nonstick spray. |
6. Spread the seasoned meat evenly along the bottom of the air fryer basket. |

8. Check for doneness . |
9. Once the steak bites are browned to your liking, toss them around. |
10. Cook for another 3 minutes. |
11. Remove and serve. |
